What began as a dream several years ago among local beach believers to bring Christians together under the banner of music and to have a consistent fundraiser for the homeless outreach organization on PCB called The Ark – has come alive. Faith Festival reaches out to all people through the universal language of music and the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Our prayer is for Faith Festival to be a gathering where all Christians can come together for one day to celebrate what we all agree on- Jesus Christ, the risen Son of God as our Lord and Savior!
Faith Festival is a community event for all to enjoy and we pray it will grow exponentially in its scope, reach, and popularity. We have all kinds of concerts and festivals for all kinds of plans, purposes and reasons – why not for our God – to bring Him praise and glory. The Festival is an all-volunteer evangelistic event among Christians throughout Bay County uniting many churches, volunteers, and Christian artists with the singular goal of proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Faith Festival provides a wholesome family environment, with no alcohol, violence, antibiblical activities or objects but does unite the churches in the community and provides a great opportunity for Christians to fellowship with others outside of their own church.
In addition to Christian unity, Faith Festival seeks to raise funds for The Ark Ministries. The Ark is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization which reaches out into the homeless community and provides temporary housing, clothes, food, job placement but primarily to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are currently over 100 precious souls that live at the Ark, many of which are children and it is the hope and desire of the Festival team that sufficient funds can be raised to not just pay for the expense of the Festival but to purchase and install a playground for the children who live at the Ark. The leadership of the Festival is managed by the Faith Festival Leadership Team whose names are listed below. All of these team members are volunteers who live on the beach and who have a heart to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to show His love by serving the least of these in our community.
